Weighing more than a diesel truck and moving through the sky without any propellers, hot air balloons are a sight to see. And visitors and residents in Decatur have a chance to see these balloons in action this Memorial Day weekend. The 46th annual Alabama Jubilee is all day Saturday and Sunday at Point Mallard Park. 54 balloons will fly or tether in the early mornings and late afternoons. Visitors may also view antique car and tractor shows on Saturday and arts and crafts shows on both days. Ken Garner is the president of the Alabama Jubilee Committee.
